How to use the Medication Tab in Gurucose?
Track your insulin and see how it impacts your sugar levels. The Gurucose Medication tab helps you log doses, spot sugar lows, and calculate how your body responds to each insulin type, so you can adjust smarter and stay safer.
Taking insulin isn’t just about the dose, it’s about how your body responds to it. The Medication tab in Gurucose helps you track not only how much insulin you’re taking, but also how it affects your sugar levels. Here’s how it works:
Select the insulins you use
Start by choosing the insulin types you take, whether it’s rapid-acting (Short Acting) or long-acting (Slow Acting). This helps Gurucose track your entries and personalize your insights.

See how much insulin you’ve taken today!
Every time you enter a dose, Gurucose keeps a running total. You can always see how much insulin you’ve taken today. This helps you stay aware.

Understand your insulin and low sugar patterns
We show a 7-day bar chart of your insulin use, broken down by total, short-acting, and slow-acting doses.
The best part? The color of each bar tells you how low your sugar dropped after that dose.
If your insulin is causing too many lows, you’ll see it clearly—so you can adjust early and stay safe.

View all insulin entries with sugar impact
In the “View All” section, you’ll find a full list of your insulin doses, the timing, and the units taken.
Next to each entry, Gurucose shows the lowest sugar reading in the 2 hours that followed.

You’ll also calculate the correction value—how much your sugar dropped per unit of insulin if you choose the insulin dose where you had no food after the insulin. As of now, you have to identify that dose manually.
This helps you learn how your body reacts to insulin, so you can adjust your future doses better.
The Medication tab is here to do more than just track insulin. It’s here to help you spot patterns, avoid lows, and understand your body’s response over time.
Use it regularly to feel more confident in your diabetes decisions—day by day, dose by dose.
